1. การคมนาคม

 

องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลวังไผ่  มีเส้นทางคมนาคมที่สำคัญผ่าน  คือ  ถนนลาดยาง สายดอนเมือง-   หนองส้ม  ระยะทางประมาณ  7  กิโลเมตร  และมีถนนแยกไปอำเภอเมืองชุมพร  เทศบาลเมืองชุมพร  เทศบาลตำบล วังไผ่  องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบางลึก  ทำให้การคมนาคมของชุมชน  สะดวก  รวดเร็ว  และเข้าถึงพื้นที่บริเวณเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลวังไผ่ได้โดยสะดวก  นอกจากนี้แล้ว  ยังมีเส้นทางคมนาคมอีกหลายเส้นทางด้วยกัน  ดังนี้

 

2.  การให้บริการรถโดยสาร

 

การให้บริการรถโดยสารกับผู้สัญจรไปมาในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลวังไผ่ ให้บริการผู้โดยสารโดยเริ่มต้นจากเขตเทศบาลเมืองชุมพร (บริเวณหลังตลาดชุมพร)  ถึง ปลายทางถนนสายเพชรเกษม-หนองส้ม  และจากปลายทางถนนสายเพชรเกษม-หนองส้ม  ถึง เทศบาลเมืองชุมพร

 

3.  การไฟฟ้า

 

ส่วนตำบลวังไผ่  มีไฟฟ้าใช้จำนวน  7  หมู่บ้าน  และคาดว่าภายในปี พ.ศ. 2552 ราษฎรในเขตตำบลวังไผ่  จะมีไฟฟ้าใช้ครบทุกครัวเรือน  ตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล
